The New Student Application Fee is required at the time of application to SCA. This fee covers costs associated with the application process and admission testing. This fee is charged to all students who are applying for K-12th grade program, including all Kindergarten students and students who are transferring from another school or homeschool.
The Re-enrollment Fee is required at the time returning students re-enroll. Once the re- enrollment form and fee are received, the student’s seat is reserved; however, the financial contract must be signed and returned within two weeks of receiving it to finalize this process. Families are not responsible for composite & withdrawal fees by simply re- enrolling a student.
The Composite Fee covers most books, supplies, agenda (K5-12), yearbook, educational supplements, program enhancements, and capital improvements. No less than $100 per student will be allotted to the building fund. The book portion of this fee is a prorated fee, since some books are consumable and some last more than one year. Students retain consumable books only at the end of the year. For preschool only, one local field trip is included. If a student withdraws prior to the start of the school year, the fee is not refunded, and any books or supplies are forfeited.
The Activity and Technology Fee is required per family and may be combined with tuition and composite fees as part of a family’s payment plan. This fee will help build a strong future for SCA’s athletic and technology programs and provide special activities and benefits for all families enrolled at SCA throughout the year. One local class field trip per school year is included.
All families will be required to set up a tuition payment plan that is paid automatically in FACTS as part of the enrollment process. Plans available: 1, 2, 4, 10 or 11 payments. The annual fee, determined by FACTS, will be
$25 for payment plans paid annually and semi-annually and $55 for all monthly plans.
When a student enters the school during the year, composite fees and Activity and Technology Fee will be charged in full (see fees above) and tuition will be charged to each month the student is registered (regardless of the number of days in attendance the first month) on the basis of one-ninth (1/9th) of the annual tuition.
A family who withdraws a Preschool student after July 1, 2025 is responsible for paying a $2,000 withdrawal fee per student as well as composite fees. A family who withdraws a student after the start of school is responsible for paying a $2,000 withdrawal fee per student, composite fees and tuition for each month in attendance, including any portion of a month the student was in attendance. Please be sure to refer to your tuition contract for specific details.
A family who withdraws a K5-12 student after July 1, 2025 is responsible for paying a $3,000 withdrawal fee per student as well as composite fees. A family who withdraws a student after the start of school is responsible for paying a $3,000 withdrawal fee per student, composite fees, the family activity and technology fee and tuition for each month in attendance, including any portion of a month the student was in attendance. Please be sure to refer to your tuition contract for specific details.
In the event that the military member is expecting a change of PCS orders during the school year, please notify the finance office before signing a contract.
