SCA’s academic honor society, National Beta Club, held an induction ceremony on October 8th, 2015. The two returning members, President Lexi Thompson and Vice-President Emma VanDorn, welcomed one transfer and eight new members and revealed the chapter’s new name. The Jernigan Chapter of National Beta Society, named in honor of Mr. & Mrs. David and Kay Jernigan, has already filled care packages for 2015 graduates, helped clean up at the PTF Bazaar, organized a Christmas food drive and is scheduled to ring bells for the Salvation Army at Wal-Mart on December 5th between noon and 4PM.
